Today I did my weigh in and I gained 8 pounds. I'm also stressed financially and trying to get my budget on track. Not because I'm in debt (other than some minor credit card stuff), but because I want to save more to ensure a better future in this unstable economy. I cancelled my personal trainer sessions for now; it will be a huge savings. But I know I'm worthy of still taking care of myself, so I will continue to work on my nutrition. This month starts a "no processed foods" change. I'll be tracking my data in my personal apps.

I love my trainer, and I know I'll visit her again in the future. She left me with this:

Progress isn’t always linear. Sometimes growth looks like stepping back to get your foundation right. This is just a season — not a setback.

I started my physical fitness journey a year ago with her, and I don't regret it one bit. 🩶
